Busy BBQ-ers and Booth-Makers

We have had quite a busy few days here! Coming up on a very rare free weekend is feeling like a huge breath of fresh air (we LOVE being busy, though, so don't think we are getting weak on y'all!). Here are our last few days through instagram.

On Sunday, we attended our first Bridal Show hosted at Convention Hall in Gadsden.  It was an intimate show which allowed us to really meet one-on-one with several potential clients. It also let us get our feet wet as we are newbies to the "bridal show world." Since Gadsden is our home base it was great to see so many familiar faces and feel reassured that we are doing the right thing by starting our business here and not trying to venture into the bigger cities.

After the show we scooted over to Court Street Gardens to see Laney's "mock wedding".  Court Street always has a great presentation and Laney's did not disappoint this time.  After extensive renovations the old Gadsden Fire Station and Stables are looking quite "wedding ready" if I do say so myself!

Then, Tuesday we had the pleasure to decorate for The Chamber's Business After Hours event.  BAH is a social networking gathering hosted every month at a different member's location.  I was so excited when Heather (Chamber President) asked if we would be interested in helping out this month. The theme for this one was "Boot Scootin' BBQ Bash" so we wanted it to feel very casual and bring the cuteness of a backyard BBQ inside to the comforts of air conditioning.

So after a hectic few days we are happy for a mini-break before we gear up for September's events and the holiday season!
