Kelly Clarkson Engaged to Country Royalty

When we heard the news of Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock (ya know, step-son of the great and wonderful Reba!) we just knew it would be a fun a funky wedding with touches of down home tradition.

Here is what we think Kelly should do. (Because, we know she listens to us explicitly :) )

While we would love to see some fancy Nashville or Texas wedding we have a good feeling that Kelly and Brandon will escape to somewhere with a similar down home feel, but away from the glaring eyes of onlookers. So to Italy it is!  Who wouldn't want to get hitched in this gorgeous venue featured in Martha Stewart Weddings?

We are thinking she will go intimate with a few guests and tons of country rock flair!

Of course, a southern girl can't get married without loads of flair in her dress!

This Vera Wang stunner would fit right along with Kelly's personality while still giving that romantic feel that we know she will include!

We think she will add in some real funky rocker fun with a big statement necklace and some fab shoes!!

We can't forget the veil! While we don't think beat-to-her-own-drum Kelly will go for a traditional veil, we do think she would look great in this boho-headband (we found this one on Etsy)



So, while we know Kelly's dream day is probably nothing like the one we want for her, we can't wait to see her special day come to fruition!
